Abstract
Keenan's conclusion that minimalism and constructionism
can be contrasted with one another, is based on a misunderstanding
of what I meant by claiming that minimalism vs. constructionism is
a false dichotomy in theories of reading inference.
Keywords
constructionism, inference, mental models, minimalism,
reading, text comprehension.
