Abstract
In his book Learning and Categorization in Modular
Neural Networks (1992a), Murre proposes a building block for neural
networks based on unsupervised learning. In this commentary, I will
present results of research which extends Murre's approach. It will
be shown that this new work may solve some of the problems former
reviewers have exposed.
