Abstract
Sam Rakover's book Metapsychology has an interesting
and underexplored premise: that philosophy has something useful to
say about psychological practice. However, the book itself
disappoints since it does not communicate that message with
sufficient depth or detail.
Keywords
behavior, causality, experimentation, explanation,
introspection, mind-body problem, observation, philosophy,
psychology, reductionism, science, theory.
